Job Vacancy English Teacher and Customer Service at I Can Read English Language Center - Surakarta

Urgently Required 

I Can Read learning center offers literacy programmes to students who acquire skill in reading, comprehesion, vocabulary, spelling, creative writing, listening, oral presentation skills and all aspects of English literacy. We are currently recruiting qualified candidates to fill the following positions : 

1. FULL-TIME ENGLISH TEACHERS
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE / ADMINISTRATION STAFF

Responsibilities : 

FULL-TIME ENGLISH TEACHERS 

• Working with children between the ages of 2.5 to 16 years. 
• Teaching reading, writing, comprehension skill, grammar and vocabulary to children using the I CAN READ System and our literacy programmes (please note that this is not an ESL teaching position). 
• Teaching presentation skill. 
• Helping children develop social skills and positive classroom behavior. 
• Conducting assessment for new enrollment process. 
• Maintain good communication with parents. 
• Contribute to students growth and retention. 

Requirements :

• Restricted to female applicants only. 
• Diploma or Bachelor Degree from any field but from English/Literature is preferably. 
• English speaker with strong command of the English language. 
• Having at least 2 years of working experiences in teaching young learner will be an added advantage. 
• Phonemic awareness knowledge is preferably. 
• Has pleasant personality. 
• Has the ability to work well with co-teachers and other Team Member. 
• Proactive and takes initiative to resolve issues and/or highlight challenges. 

CUSTOMER SERVICE / ADMINISTRATION STAFF 

• Assist the Centre Manager in managing the daily operations of the Learning Centre. 
• Create a warm and comfortable environment for students and parents. 
• Ensure safety and care of students. 
• Schedule classes. 
• Attend, respond and manage customer enquiries and requests. 
• Front desk and administrative duties. 

Requirements : 

• Restricted to female applicants only. 
• Candidate should possess Associate's Degree (D3)/Bachelor Degree (S1) 
• Candidate should have a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience. 
• Fresh graduates will also be considered. 
• Preferable experience includes but is not limited to Education Centres, Sales or Customer Service 
• Must love children. 
• Candidate should possess a cheerful disposition and excellent communication skills at all levels. 
• Good English Skills 
• Computer and MS Office proficient.
